i need a reason . . . corrine looked at the ground. yeah, i'd like to go on a date with you next wednesday. she said and giggled slightly, putting his words into, pretty much, a different order. she looked away as he spoke on the phone, wishing that she had someone to call her and check up on her, though she did have to check up on matthew soon.
after the kiss she sighed, taking a slight step back, and looked up at seb. i-im sorry about that. she said as she had thought it was an amazing kiss, but his 'oh wow...' wasn't encouraging. corrine looked at the ground once again and started for the kitchen to get another drink, she wasn't about to let him look at her, and judge her even more. she knew that he probably didn't find her attractive, by her lifestyle alone.
she found her way to the kitchen, leaning against the counter she took in a deep breath, hoping he didn't follow her and try to tell her how much of a slut she was. vodka... she needed vodka. corrine found a bottle and poured her cup three quarters of the way full, and put some redbull into it. she turned around looking at all the people, everyone was in cliques and she didn't fit in. all of a sudden she was feeling uncomfortable.
okay, so she had told him that she was a stripper, she had a son, and then she kissed him. she couldn't tell if he liked it, and she was afraid he hadn't. that was so embarrassing. corrine gulped down some of her drink, and shook her head. looking around to see if seb had followed her.

------------------ He couldn’t contain the smile that rose to his lips as she agreed to go out with him, on Wednesday. “Could I um… get your number maybe?” Seb asked pulling out his phone , “I could text you later with the details.” He touched the various buttons so that all she had to do was enter her number into it. He handed her his phone and waited patiently for her to hand it back. His phone was one of the latest on the market, but it was his third this year. His first phone of this year was ran over when he accidently dropped it into the street. His second phone tumbled out of his hand into the pool a few months ago when he was chilling with his feet into it, while he was texting He couldn’t take care of a phone to save his life, a fact that seemed to irritate his father to no end. He just prayed this one would last for a little bit, or at least long enough for his dad to forget how long ago he had gotten a new one. He awkwardly stuck his hands in her pockets and flashed her a shy smile.
Seb watched her curiously took a step back from him. “What…” he started but she cut him off. Why was she apologizing? Did she not get the same reaction from the kiss he did? Were they on two separate wave lengths? Gah…he was so lost right now. So many emotions were running through his head. But mostly he was confused. She had evoked a lot of confusion in him. Confusion about how she felt, about how he felt. Where this was going, if this was just a one sided things. Basically, just a lot of confusion in general.
He watched her leave, staring after her a few seconds before dragging a hand through his hair. He wasn’t exactly sure what he should do in that moment. Should he follow her, and find up what was wrong, or should he just cut his losses, and take off. He weighed his options carefully, before deciding to go with the former decision. He’d go after her, that kiss was just too great. His search for her hadn’t taken that long, and he found her fairly quickly in the kitchen, leaning against the counter. “Hey…” Seb said softly, “I was wondering where you took off to.”

i need a reason . . . he was stroking her arm, staring up at the stars. it was a perfect picture, his arm around her. i never wanna leave you. ever. he said into her ear, as she looked over at him a tear coming to her eye. she kissed his lips lightly. ill always be with you. she said, turning to her side against the windshield of the car. they stayed together that night, all night until the sun came up and she woke up in the back seat with him her hair all mangled. she went home that morning and as her mother yelled at her, she didn't care, she had been with the one she loved. loved.
she was staring at the floor, gulping down the drink and then looking up as he came in. she stared from the floor to his eyes. then broke free from the memory of that night. i'm sorry... she said and poured some more vodka. if you want to, i mean if you still want to.. do you want to go back to my place? my babysitter is letting matthew stay over all night since i haven't been out in a while. she said and looked back to seb's eyes.
she wanted to be loved for once. she didn't know where this relationship would go, if she opened up to him would he still want to be her friend? maybe her boyfriend? probably not, but she wasn't going to let her words get in the way anymore. she took a sip of her drink, getting bumped into by a drunk guy. oh hey pretty lady... you wanna go get friendly? he said and kissed her cheek. now, she looked over at seb almsot begging for him to either say something or just take her away. no... i'm already with someone, sorry. she was afraid of random guys. after that night... when matthew was conceived...
oh, well, you don't mind do you? he said and reached for her arm. he gripped it and she tried pulling away. let go. she said, looking to seb, taking his hand in hers.

------------------ Seb looked over at her as he fixed himself a drink, “It’s okay…”
he said, taking a sip of his drink. He leaned against the counter beside her, and offered her a small smile. His eyes widened in mild surprise at her question. Of course he wanted to. He didn’t really want to end this date so soon, actually after that kiss, he didn’t want this date to ever end, and that thought surprised him a little. He couldn’t believe he had been talking to her for this long. If it had been any other day, at any other time, and he actually had managed to find an excuse to get out of it, he might not have been doing this. Fate always surprised him like that, and yes he was a firm believer in fate. Nothing happened on its own accord, fate always had a hand in it some way, somehow. Yeah he believed that you could control your own destiny, but he always thought nothing, happened without some help. But anyways he was glad that today was Today, and in a weird sort of way he was glad that he had taken the time to listen to his sister, and hadn’t found an and excuse not to come, because he was actually kind of happy that he was talking to her. Especially since he knew what would happen when they got to her apartment. Before she could give him her answer a drunken bastard walked up to them. oh hey pretty lady... you wanna go get friendly?“Hey…bro… you wanna back up there?” Seb said grabbing the guy’s arm and began pulling him away. He could feel his temper steadily rising and he fought to keep it down. It would not due to lose his temper in front of her, it might ruin his chances. oh, well, you don't mind do you? As the guy persisted, he stepped in between the two of them, “I suggest you let go there, man, or you’ll regret it,” he said. He felt Corrine take his hand, and looked at her, “come on,” he said leading her away from there, “Your car or mine?” [/blockquote][/blockquote] ------------------ tagged: corrine outfit: clickly! notes: not my best

i need a reason . . . corrine always picked up the shitty guys, after her ex boyfriend. the ones that didn't smile at her, the ones that, while she was sitting in the barstool, would try putting their hands up her dress. the ones that looked at her boobs more than her face. other than the fact that she was used to it because she was a stipper, she hadn't been on a date with someone who wanted to talk to her, and of course get in her pants as well.
she was going to let him go all the way, she knew that. he was gorgeous, and he was making her happy. when that guy stepped into their conversation, and he got in the way, her heart skipped a beat. most guys would just drag her away and roll their eyes. he interjected his authority and made the guy step back.
she laced their fingers, and as they walked away she pushed through the dancing people towards the front door of the house. finally outside, she looked over at seb. thanks for, uh that back there... she said, leaning up and forward to plant her lips onto his once again. once the few second kiss was over, she fell back slightly. pointing towards the cars she smiled, which one is yours? she said with a slight giggle.
she hadn't gone home with a guy in a while, and since matthew's baby sitter couldn't always babysit all night, this was a treat. corrine always wondered who she would end up with. someone who was good with kids, who would love matthew for what he was worth, and not care about the past of how he came to be. also, someone who would protect her, and make her happy.
she was still out searching for that man.

------------------ Seb had habit of dating a specific kind of girl, well… he and his brothers tended to all date this kind of girl. The kind of girl, who wasn’t exactly someone to bring home to your mother. You know the type, easy, extremely slutty, usually blonde, bimboish. His sisters hated when they brought them around, and would mock them incessantly all the next day. He loved his sisters to death, and would do anything for them, anything they asked, but he couldn’t give up this one vice. He could afford to have this this one flaw; he had given up so much he deserved it.
He had been taking care of his six siblings since their mother had died when he was 4 when their father had all but abandoned them, and well someone had to step up. He can’t say that he did it all on his own, the nannies, and servants had help, and well his younger sister Ansley had helped dealing with Morgan and Willow. Which was a good thing because Seb was completely clueless when it came to all things dealing with feminine things. Sad really… considering how much he interacted with girls throughout his life. God he was hopeless…
Anyways… the point of that whole spleel, he was pleasantly surprise to find himself as attracted to Corrine, as much as he was. But then again, the more he thought about the more it made since, she was hot, confident, independent, and not clingy, all things that he loved in a woman, it made sense that he would be attracted to her.
Seb shrugged off her thanks, “It’s nothing, any guy would do it,”
he said smiling down at her. He pointed over towards the his black truck, “That one.” He loved his truck. It was one of the oldest things he owned, and the first thing he had ever bought with his own money. He had saved up for months, the summer of his fifteen year, just so he could buy it from his neighbor, it was his world. i need a reason . . . funny as it was, she really wasn't as slutty as she looked. corrine knew that when guys looked at her, all they saw was sex. she had so much more in her that no one knew about. what would she tell matthew when he was older? oh yeah, honey. when i was younger and you were a baby i had sex with all the guys i met. no. she wasn't going to be like, and she had promised herself after she had moved here to honolulu that she would be something. corrine had looked into all the colleges, all the businesses on the island, and she decided that she was going to have to save all the money she could.
corrine had always been interested in modeling. she had found a large modeling agency on the island. she called them, showing up in their office in the city, and got all her measurements taken. good news, they had said she could be used for the runway, as well as photographs. she hadn't gotten a call back from them for when she was needed, and she was wondering if she could quit her stripping job.
ever since she was able to go hang out with her friends, she had always been into the whole makeup thing. stealing mommy's high heels, or wearing a dress that five times too big for her. corrine and her friends always putting on fashion shows for their mothers, and making everything preppy. they grew up, all of them watching what they ate, and buying the latest from abercrombie.
she looked over at him, nah... trust me. not every guy would. she said looking down, then walking towards his truck, getting in after him. she looked over, crossing her legs and telling him some directions on how to get to her apartment.

------------------ He loved a girl who wasn’t one to just let him have his way all the time, and he wasn’t sure why except for the fact that he knew that he would have been bored out is mine if he had his way 24/7. For most of his life he had gotten just that. Most everything he asked for in life, he had gotten, and most people did as he asked. The keyword being most, there were those who didn’t give a rat’s ass about what he wanted, people like his brothers and sisters and what not. But uh…yeah…Seb wasn’t ashamed or scared to admit that he had been spoiled as a child. He liked that little detail about himself. It added to his character…or at least he thought it did.
His future had been mapped out for him since he was born. He, the oldest Abercrombie, the heir to the Shipping Empire, had been groomed to take over the family business since he could remember. And now that he’s graduated College, it’s time for him to do his duty. Seb had been dreading this day for the last 15 or so years. But he didn’t have a choice really, it was either take over the family business or die, and he had the scar on his chest to prove that. His father ignored him and his siblings when it came to just about everything except when it came to Abercrombie’s Shipping, and he resented him for that a little.
He shook his head in an effort to clear his thoughts, not wanting to think on his father. Mr. Abercrombie was not exactly high up there on his favorite things to think about list… or up there at all really. His father and he tended to see the world in different ways. Don’t get me wrong, he loved his father, loved him very much they just were two different people. He saw the world as his playground, a sea of endless possibilities. His father on the other hand saw the world as something wild, it needing to be conquered. Seb sometimes wondered if this was how his father saw him, as something wild, it would certainly explain the way he treated him.
He opened the truck door for her to hop in, “You’ve just been hanging out with the wrong kind of guys,” he said waiting for her to getting in before walking around to his side. He started his car and followed her directions to her apartment. Pulling into the parking lot, he turned off the car, “This is it?” he asked.

i need a reason . . . what he said actually made her laugh slightly. you're tellin' me. she giggled and looked out the window as they drove. all the familiar buildings, and the same homeless person sleeping on the bus stop bench. she looked up the apartment wall to where her baby sitter's apartment was. the one light was on, and the other off. she wondered if matthew was still awake. it was only ten o'clock, and she couldn't tell if her light that was on was the bedroom or not. all the apartment setups were the same, in a way, so it was easy to tell what light belonged to who.
yup, this is my home... right here in the road. she laughed, opening the door and hopping out of the truck. come on, silly. she said walking towards him and taking his hand. leading him towards the apartment complex, taking out her key to open the gate to the stairwell. the apartments weren't the nicest, but they were not the worst at all.
after walking up the three flights to the top floor, she walked towards her door. the apartment hallway was interesting because it wasn't like a closed in building. the steps were outside, and the gate was actually a tall gate that had to be unlocked in order to get in. so the hallways were all open and a breeze was constantly flowing through the long walk way.
she opened the door, happy that she had cleaned up before she left. the living room was rather large, and matthew's toys all in the corner. the kitchen was connected to the living room, and it was small, but it fit a table in there. well, this is home. she said and looked down the hallway into her open bedroom door, her nightlights that were plugged into the two outlets in the hallway giving her enough light to see that her bedroom was tidy as well.
corrine dropped her purse and took off her high heels. uh, you can take off your shoes and all.. i think it's gonna be a while before you leave. she said, walking into the kitchen, leaving him to think of what that all had to mean. though she knew he knew exactly what she was talking about.

------------------ “But your taste is definitely improving,”
Seb said flashing her a big smile, “I mean you’re hanging out with me, and not to toot my own horn or anything, but i ‘m like the best catch around.” He watched her out the corner of his eyes, as she looked out the window. She looked so relaxed at that moment, at least more relaxed than she had earlier especially when that jerk was messing with her. Stepping out of the car, he paused slightly at her laugh, it was a wonderful sound, or at least he thought so. It was melodious sounding, and it kind of surprised him. He hadn’t ever heard a laugh quite like that, and wanted to hear it again. Although he dared not ask, it would be too weird and slightly awkward, and while he found himself in awkward situations quite often he still didn’t like them. He smiled down at her as she took hold of his hand, and followed her towards the apartment complex. Her hand felt nice in his. A little small compared to his, and slightly on the fragile side, but it still felt good in his. Her palm was smooth, smoother than he would have expected it to be. It just seemed to fit his…perfectly, and that in and of itself was amazing. Three flights of stairs he walked up… three flights… Jesus…not that it was a strain or anything, but he couldn’t imagine walking up them day in and day out, especially with a kid too… No way... He at least would have expected the stairs to be inside… or have a cover overhead. But he supposed that he couldn’t really expect too much from the place. After all it wasn’t the worst apartment complex, it could be better, but it certainly wasn’t dangerous or scary looking. He followed her into her home. “This is home…” he repeated, taking a look around his surroundings. he found it rather quaint, and cute looking. Seb's eyes found her, as she kicked off her shoes, and made her way into the kitchen. A smirk rose to his lips at her words, “I don’t plan to leave anytime soon.” He pulled off his shoes, and set them beside hers, before following after her, a predatory gleam in his eye. i need a reason . . .
she grinned, looking over at him with a small tap on his shoulder. oh? you're the best catch around? she laughed, jokingly of course and nodded, i guess i won't tell you that your sister told me she felt bad for you, so that is why she set us up on a date.. and we aren't 'hanging out'... unless that is what you think this is. she asked him looking over and tilting her head slightly, hoping that wasn't what he was thinking.
while she was in the apartment she couldn't really get a vibe from him, whether he thought that her place was appauling since he was so rich, and the girls that he dated were probably all rich and had Escalades and lived in mommy's mansion. but, she couldn't sit around and wonder what he thought, though she really hoped that he liked her place.
as corrine walked into the kitchen, she thought about how it would look if she and seb dated. would it be secretive? where he came over only at night to see his girl, and hang out with matthew? or would they be all over honolulu's news paper as the prince dates the pauper, and 'what will become of the heir to the multi billionair industry', or just something along those lines.
it was almost like she was trying to find a reason to not date him, like she didn't want to 'bring him down', since he was so esteemed. there was a thought going through her head almost like a red alert, to not get involved with someone who could just be using her. as she leaned against the counter, turning around and looking as he walked after her she instantly ignored the 'red alert', good, cause i'm not going to let you. she said, glancing at him up and down, then walking towards him her arms finding their way around his neck and her legs jumping to link behind his waist. kissing him was almost a perfect way to look past the stupid reasons to push him away.
be a dear, and take me to my bedroom. she said, still clinging to him, then putting her head on his shoulder, laughing into his neck and kissing his skin. she took in a deep breath, the alcohol from the party still there, this might be terrible, but i have a whole mini fridge full of vodka... then it dawned on her, the fact that she was only nineteen... she didn't even know how old he was.
good god, what would his family think of him dating a stripper, with a child, who is nineteen, and is trying to become a model? that is like every terrible thing about a girl, fucking, combined. she was mentally going insane. then, she started thinking of matthew, what if he didn't like seb? what if seb found matthew annoying? or what if seb just couldn't handle a child, plus a girlfriend? what about herself? corrine couldn't have a totally clingy boyfriend, she liked her independence she learned all by herself how to make it through the past few years on her own, and she didn't like it, but it was all she knew. not to mention she didn't like rumors, she had dealt with the rumors from matthew being born and such, and to have a man who is as esteemed around town, having his arm around her, and having everyone know about her, she didn't know how she would be able to deal. but she just wanted this boy... bad.

------------------ Seb looked over at her an raised an eyebrow, “Oh really? Is that what she said? Remind me to kill he when I get home tomorrow.” A smile accompanied his raised eyebrow as she confirmed that they were in fact on a date. Not that he really had any doubt as to what this really was. He knew without a doubt that his was a date. This whole situation, just had a different… vibe to it than say, the average, hanging outage. Not to say that he didn’t make out and/or sleep with the girls he hung out with, he just never really had any emotional attachment to any of them. But he seemed to have an emotional attachment to her. He wasn’t even sure where it came from. He had barely known her for a few hours, but there was just something about her.
She was definitely unlike any girl he had ever had the pleasure of making acquaintances with, and that wasn’t a bad thing. In the little bit of time he had known her, he had found that they were quite the pair of opposites, Seb and her. Him with his fair complexion, of blonde hair, and blue eyes, and her with dark locks and coffee colored skin. While they both had dreams and ambitions, she had her life a tad bit more put together than he did. Even if she was a stripper, at least she was in control of her own destiny. Which was more than he could say. He actually really like the idea of them being opposites of each other. Partly because as the old saying goes, opposites do attract, and well that was one thing he could not deny he was undeniably attracted to her.
It vaguely occurred to him in this sexed up state that sex with her wouldn’t be just a onetime thing. He knew that with her, it wouldn’t be like anything else he had ever experienced. As this thought occurred to him, he wondered what would become of their relationship? Would there even be a relationship? He knew that without a doubt he would be seeing her again, but he wasn’t sure what she wanted, and at the moment he didn’t care very much. Of course if she was his she would have to quit her job at the strip club. His father would kill him, bring him back, and kill him again if he brought home a stripper. Not to mention the society papers would rip him to shreds. He could almost hear his father’s voice now, yelling at him for bringing home someone beneath him. Not that he thought of her that way. Seb was big on equality, especially when it came to men and women; he wasn’t exactly sure where he got it from, especially since his father was a sexist pig, but still. He liked to think that almost anything a man could do, a woman could do it just as well.
His smirk grew at her words, “And what exactly are you going to-" his words were cut off by her jumping up and wrapped her arms and legs around him. A small laugh left him as she asked… well more like commanded him to take her to the bedroom, “And thus end my dream, of fucking you in the kitchen…” he said his eyes momentarily slipping close feeling her lips on his skin, “oh well… we’ll save it for another day.” His smirk transformed into a full blown smile, “Vodka, you say? Let’s get a move on then, shall we?” Seb carried her into her bedroom, and laid her on the bed, crawling on top of her.

i need a reason . . . She loved how her jumping onto him just shut him up, not to mention it make him to exactly what she wanted. corrine looked at him, admiring every cell on his face and she kissed his nose. staring at him, not daring to break her stare. he was something she had waited for for a long time.
shh. she giggled and put her finger on his lip. she was always thinking of the future, always trying to plan as far ahead as she possibly could, and all of a sudden this boy came into her life. even after a few fucking hours she knew he was going to change her life for good. she always imagined a man coming in and taking care of her, taking on her and matthew so she could go to school or model.
no way in hell would she not be modeling in her future, that is the one thing that was in her life that she refusd to give up on. matthew would know when he grew up that his mother tried her hardest, and that she wasn't stupid. she wanted to find that perfect father figure for her baby, and she wanted to find the perfect lover. what a hard job.
she grinned at him, as he held her in the air, yeah, i was about to say... you act like this is a one time thing. she grinned, actually speaking the fact that she knew he would be back with her again, many more times. just knowing such a fact made her happy as anything, also the fact that she was confident enough told her that she was subconsciously comfortable with him to the point that she didn't really realize it until she just knew she was comfortable.
nodding she was laid on the bed, her legs still wrapped around him, then falling down to hit her black and pink comforter. yup, vodka. she grinned, winking playfully and looking up at him. she pointed towards the small magnet covered mini-fridge. but first i wanna take a long kinda sobered look at you. she grinned and pulled at his shirt. outfit<3

------------------ She was relatively light in his arms, not that that really was a surprise. She was fairly small to begin, so lifting her up required little to no effort. He crinkled his nose as she kissed it, his smile growing wider as she did so. God she was beautiful, hauntingly so… he knew that for the rest of his natural born life, he would never find anyone who affected him quite like this. He would forever compare every girl he would meet to her, and they would all pale in comparison.
It vaguely occurred to him that he had to get up early tomorrow, as it was his first official day of working for dear old dad. He really didn’t want to go, but he knew that his father would do everything short of killing him if he didn’t show up. But even then he might actually kill him. He had the scar along his ribcage to prove it. A small shudder ran through him as he remembered that horrible day. He had actually thought that his father would kill him that day as he stood over him with the hot fireplace poker. Thankfully, he just burned the skin under his ribs, but the hours that followed, he had wished that sweet death would take him. He had never told anyone what had happened that day, not even his siblings knew what really happened. He had received many speculative glances, but the only people who actually knew were his father, and his stepmother.
All thoughts of his father and his impending job, left his mind as she giggled, Seb’s tongue darted forward out of his mouth, licking her finger as she place a finger on his lip, a small chuckle leaving him as he did so. “I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees this happening multiple times,” he said kissing her briefly before carrying her into the bedroom.
His eyes followed her hand towards the refrigerator, “Wow…” Feeling her tug on his shirt Seb leaned back briefly and lifted his shirt up and over his head. A smirk crossed his features, and he ran a hand down his body, “Like what you see,” he asked.
